When we looked to the market in developing our own systems, we found that most off-the-shelf solutions in the market, were only capable of supporting either the design or localisation workflow of servicing multiple territories, but not both together.
Many of the localisation systems were closed, which meant relying on the providing company to develop connectors and integrations. With a high cost of licensing and little control over the road map for development, it was not a workable solution.
We developed the “Connect” platform specifically to give Spark and our clients the ability to connect through robust API’s, that we can control and develop. Within Connect, workflows for design and localisation run in parallel.
Industry standard tools for translation memories, InDesign, Illustrator, video and graphics are all integrated under the Connect platform, enabling us to provide the right, tailored suite of them for each client’s production needs – all integrated and accessible through Connect.
Solutions for DAM, PIM and CMS integrations are now also possible for off-the-shelf and proprietary content management systems.
