We were asked by Mood Media to produce an engaging and immersive experience for Euroshop, the world’s largest retail show, held in Germany. They had an opportunity to use the latest projection technology from Epson, the LightScene range of projectors. The brief was to showcase multiple concepts for standout branded stores that can be achieved with this cutting-edge tech. As existing trusted partners to Epson in creating standout digital content for the LightScene, we were a perfect fit.
First visualising the execution in Cinema 4D, we then worked with the Mood Media team in the Netherlands to construct the stand that was to transform into the final environments. We created 6 distinct settings, including 5 retail store concepts (sport, fashion, automotive, grocery and beauty) and a brand-led execution (using Mood Media’s own brand). Each of these was centred around a bespoke 60+ second looping digital projection animation, leveraging multiple projectors and four 4K LED screens. We pre-mapped all the video content in the Netherlands and synced to our client’s audio feed. Once complete, all components were transported to Germany in preparation for the show, for final checks and syncs before going live.
The results were spectacular, showcasing the true potential of projection mapping to wholly elevate the retail experience.
